I purchased the 16x25 table with the Viper system last fall and while I don't work it as much as I do my Epilog laser, it has done me very well.
Of course, I too can't say enough good things about Roy Brewer and his crew Brian: I was demo'd on the this past weekend. Ultimately, I did not buy it. Too expensive for my budget. Did not seem as "solid" as others I was looking at.
The software was probably good but seemed for a more advanced engraving person than I; which you are. I know Xenetech is a good name in the industry, but it just was not for me. And, although the was above my budget, it was not too much more for the or something like that which, as was pointed out to us by others, is a lot more machine.
Also, you might be interested to know that the Xenetech rep lasers glass stemware and was not pushing the cylindrical attachment; at least for glass. She gets much better results quickly by using the laser.
Stemware curves are not that radical for the size of the typical script. She showed us champagne flutes that she had done on the laser that were totally acceptable. However, if you don't have a laser, this won't be of much help. I typically don't respond to threads about equipment I sell, but since you are far out of my territory I'll make a few observations. The is an excellent machine; it will indeed handle the cylindrical attachment.
Ed: not solid? Not the smaller or larger Xenetechs, but the and the are the most rigid systems ever built.CorelDRAW graphics into Xenetech
Maybe not sure, but the new viper system makes it incredibly easy to do a dry run a couple "hairs" above the work on those "one chance only" odd ball orders. It is an incredibly versatile machine. Not quite as quick to switch between operations as I had hoped, but other than that, a super machine.Do you have questions about our systems?

I'm looking for some comments on these two machines. I operated 2 lasers in my business and I'm thinking of adding a used diamond drag system. With the great advances that lasers have given, customers still have trophies with scratch engraving.
Lately I'm seeing a lot of this work coming into my store. Back to my problem of choose. I've come across 2 diamond drag cnc systems.
A Xenetech Viper which is a few years old and a New Hermes Trophy Master Engraver, age not sure but looks to be a few years old also.
